Description: Started in 1973, the construction of the mausoleum was modeled on Lenin's mausoleum in Russia and was first open to the public in 1975. The granite building meant a great deal for many locals as it ensures that their beloved leader ‘lives on forever’.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open 5 days a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Hot season (from April 1 to October 31): From 7:30 to 10:30; Cold season (from November 1 to March 31 of the following year): From 8:00 to 11:00; Public holidays, Saturday, Sunday open for 30 minutes.Every year, the mausoleum is closed for regular renovations in 2 months: October and November. On May 19, September 2 and Lunar New Year, if it coincides on Monday or Friday, a visit to President Ho Chi Minh is still held.
Note: The mausoleum does not charge an entrance fee and visitors are required to comply with requirements such as dressing properly, not bringing cameras, mobile phones with camera functions, taking photos, turning off phones, and do not bring food or drink and keep order in the mausoleum ...
